VPNStreamer is reader-supported. This page explains, in plain terms, how the site makes money and what that means for the reviews and recommendations you read here.
How we make money
Most of the VPN, security, and streaming-tool reviews on this site contain affiliate links. If you click one of those links and sign up for a service, we may earn a commission from the provider. This includes providers such as NordVPN, ExpressVPN, Surfshark, CyberGhost, PureVPN, StrongVPN, and IPVanish, among others reviewed on the site. Some of these commissions are paid directly by the provider, and some are paid through third-party affiliate networks that track the referral on the provider’s behalf.
We also run display advertising through Google AdSense. If you see an ad on this site and interact with it, Google and its advertising partners may collect standard advertising data (browser type, general location, and similar information) as described in our Privacy Policy.
Does this cost you anything?
No. Clicking an affiliate link and signing up for a service costs you exactly the same as going directly to that provider’s website. The commission comes out of the provider’s marketing budget, not your wallet.
Does this affect our reviews?
Our goal is to recommend the VPN that actually fits what you’re looking for, whether that’s streaming, torrenting, price, or privacy, not the one that pays the highest commission. Where a provider does not have an affiliate relationship with us at all, we still review it on its own merits if it’s relevant to what you’re searching for.
That said, we believe in being upfront about the incentive: we do earn more when you use our links, and you should factor that into how you read any “best VPN” or “top picks” style article on this site, here or anywhere else.
Where you’ll see this in practice
Pages that contain affiliate links carry a short reminder near the top of the article and near the relevant buttons or links themselves, not just on this standalone page. If you ever come across a page on this site that has affiliate links but no visible reminder, treat that as an oversight and feel free to let us know.
Questions
If you have questions about a specific review, a specific link, or how a particular affiliate relationship works, contact us and we’ll answer as specifically as we can.
