Signed Up Through a Third Party? Cancel There Instead
If you didn’t sign up directly on Hulu’s website, you can’t cancel from Hulu at all — you have to cancel through wherever you’re actually being billed:
- Apple/iTunes: Open your iPhone’s Settings app (not the Hulu app), tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel from there.
- Amazon: Go to Amazon.com → Account & Lists → Memberships and Subscriptions, find Hulu under Prime Video Channels, and cancel.
- Roku: Cancel through your Roku account’s subscription management page.
- Spotify (Student bundle): Manage it through your Spotify account settings instead.
- Verizon or T-Mobile: Cancel through your carrier’s app or account page.

Deleting Your Account (Not Just Cancelling)
Cancelling stops billing but keeps your account and watch history. To delete the account entirely, contact Hulu support directly — full account deletion isn’t self-service through the website the way cancellation is. Before you do, consider requesting a copy of your personal data from Hulu so you know what they hold on you, and be aware this step is irreversible.
Deleting a Single Profile (Not the Whole Account)
- Log in and go to Account, then Manage Profiles.
- Select the profile you want to remove and click the pencil icon.
- Scroll down and select Delete Profile to confirm.
This only removes that profile’s history and settings — it doesn’t cancel the subscription or affect other profiles on the account.
