  13. The local cast app automatically opens.
  14. Select the Chromecast device.
  15. Click Play.
  16. The video should now stream from the Kodi TV app on your Android device to your TV via the Chromecast app.

Method Two Installing Kodi for Android on Chromecast

  1. This method is shorter, but the battery of your Android device will drain faster.
  2. Download the Google Cast app to your Android device and install it.
  3. Launch your Google Cast app.
  4. Select ‘Cast Video/Audio’ from the menu (These is the three horizontal lines).
  5. Select your Chromecast device under ‘Cast to.’
  6. Launch your Kodi app and select the video you wish to stream.
  7. The video now streams to your TV.
